End-of-semester Library Monitors gathering
Last Friday we brought in our last semester’s library monitors to thank them for their service and commitment to the Evans HS Library, and to discuss plans for the library monitor program in Semester 2, 2025. Pizzas accompanied our show of appreciation to our talented young students. Some of them even offered to be library monitors until the end of the year! The kids were ecstatic and felt super gracious for the recognition of their achievements, and we’re so proud of them.

STEM EVERYWHERE
Have you ever wondered how sound gets from the place where it is made and travels to your ears, where you hear it? Sound is not something you can see. This is because sound is a transfer of energy. Is sound the same in outer space as it is on Earth, and how do astronauts hear each other?
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and it is not just for scientists. The existence of the whole universe, including us and our daily lives, can all be described with the wonderful scientific facts that make up the topics included in STEM. In this series, you will find out how easy STEM is to understand and discover how you can see it in action every second of every day.
