Dance Night

On Wednesday 6 September, more than 90 students graced the stage and showcased a diverse range of performances spanning genres including Bollywood, jazz, contemporary, Irish dance, hip-hop, lyrical, and tap.

It was an outstanding triumph, and my heartfelt congratulations to all the students for their commitment, dedication, and countless hours of rehearsal. Your performances were truly entertaining and you should all be incredibly proud.

Congratulations is extended to all our talented, enthusiastic and dedicated Arts students who have embraced the many opportunities St Norbert College offers for students to explore their creative talents.  The Arts staff, Ms Crocker, Mr Di Labio, Mr Mecham and Ms Rigg are devoted to ensuring you have the chance to pursue a diverse range of artistic possibilities both within the classroom and beyond into the professional realm. On behalf of the College, I thank them for their time, professional genius and passion – they really love working with our students.

The 35th Catholic Performing Arts Festival has concluded.  There were about 150 students who represented St Norbert College in a diverse range of categories.  We acknowledge their remarkable contribution to the Arts and thank them for their commitment of time – we are incredibly proud of these students bravely sharing their gifts with the wider community.

On Thursday, 29th August, the College’s co-curricular Dance Teams performed their routines with precision and grace, impressing a full house at the Perth Convention Centre.  A heartfelt thank you goes to the students, staff, and families for contributing to such a memorable event.

SoNiC Music Fest

On Saturday 9 September, we hosted our annual contemporary music festival, SoNiC, featuring our talented Certificate III Music bands Serotainment, EeeYeah, Why Monkey Why, Common Sense, Everything’s Gone Wrong, and Pluto In Retrograde. We packed into Vision Studios in East Victoria Park for an afternoon of great music and good vibes, as our six bands took to the stage with confidence, delivering 30 minute sets of popular music by the likes of Billie Eilish, The Killers, Maroon 5, Paramore, Stevie Wonder and Elvis Presley.

Thank you to Mrs Kathryn Crocker, Ms Tania Harvey and Mr Peter Hawke for their support in organising the event, to Vision Studios for allowing us to host our event, to the parents, carers, family and staff for coming along to watch, and most importantly to our Year 11 and 12 Certificate III bands for putting on a show stopping performance.
