Highvale continues to have another fantastic robotics season, with the student teams finding much success in the competitions over the last semester.
Excellence Award
At Copperfield College, one of our teams was able to secure the Excellence Award. This award has very strict criteria for achievement, including:
Top 40% performance in all aspects of a tournament
A high-quality team interview in the middle of competition play
A notebook that displays high quality engineering and design skills, demonstrating independent inquiry from beginning to end.
Nomination for multiple other awards during the tournament.
Exhibiting positive, student-centered team conduct, professionalism, and good sportsmanship.

Tournament Champions
In our next tournament at Rivercrest Christian College, our seniors team secured a double first place and our year 7 team secured a third-place finish!
In the senior competition, students were able to choose their partners for the final bracket, with our Highvale teams deciding to pair up — a strategy that secured them the victory. Throughout the tournament, our teams consistently ranked in the top five and ultimately triumphed over all opponents in a competitive 16-team bracket.
