A Showcase of Talent and Dedication
On Thursday 9th October, our VCE Music Units 3/4 students took to the stage for an amazing evening of live performance, sharing selections from their exam repertoire in preparation for their upcoming VCE performance assessments.
This special event provided students with a valuable opportunity to refine their performance skills in alignment with Area of Study 1: Performing, which emphasises the development of practical musicianship through solo and ensemble work. The audience was treated to a diverse and engaging program, spanning genres from classical to contemporary.
Beyond the impressive musicality on display, the evening highlighted students’ professionalism and technical competence, as they managed their own sound setups and stage logistics. Their performances reflected months of hard work, artistic development, and personal expression.
The theatre was filled with families and friends whose encouragement helped create a supportive atmosphere. It was great to see these young musicians perform with such confidence, creativity, and dedication.
A special thank you to our VCE Music teacher, Ben Plant, for his guidance, and support. His expertise, encouragement, and commitment to the students’ development have played a crucial role in helping them prepare for this final stage of their VCE Music journey.
Congratulations to all our performers on a wonderful evening and best wishes as you head into your final performance exams. Thank you to everyone who came along to support!
