Year 11/12

Year 12 VCE VM

It has been a busy and exciting Term as our Year 12 VCE-VM students work towards completing their Unit 4 credits. This marks a significant milestone in their learning journey, with students preparing to finalise their studies.

On Monday 26th August, our students will participate in the City Race excursion, which contributes to their Unit 4 Numeracy outcomes. Attendance at this excursion is essential to ensure successful completion of this requirement.

Looking ahead to Term 4, our VCE-VM students will attend school as normal during Weeks 1 and 2. In Week 3, we will celebrate their achievements with a series of planned activities, culminating in the Valedictory Ceremony on Friday 24th October. We are also pleased to share that our VPC students have all successfully completed their studies and will join us in Celebration Week.

We look forward to recognising and celebrating this important chapter with our students, their families, and the wider school community.

Year 12 VCE

It has been a great start to Term Three. Students have been busy completing coursework, SAC’s and preparing for the upcoming exams. The Year 12 team would like to congratulate all the students for their dedication and resilience they have shown. Well done and keep up the great effort!

VTAC applications opened on 5th August. VTAC assists in facilitating access to tertiary education and further study. An assembly was held to inform students of what is required to complete these applications. All Year 12 students have been encouraged to book an appointment with either Jennelle or Kate. It is important that all students attend these appointments to assist with their plans for 2026 and beyond. These bookings can be made via Compass.

Friday 19th September until Thursday 25th September – this is important preparation for students leading up to the October and November VCAA final exams.

Year 11 VCE and VCE VM

We have had a busy few weeks as a Year 11 cohort. On top of subject requirements many students have had the opportunity to engage in a number of extra-curricular activities. Week one some of our cohort had the opportunity to attend the ski camp. Students chose whether to ski or snowboard and hit the slopes. Although the weather wasn’t kind, students had an amazing time. Senior sport went out during week 4 and all teams performed incredibly well. Highlights included the ‘B’ team in Basketball winning their final and our Futsal and Basketball ‘A' team making the final and narrowly going down. 

The biggest event of the term for our Year 11’s is the formal, which will take place on August 22nd. Students and in particular, Ms. Chapman have put in a tremendous amount of work, and we are incredibly thankful for all their efforts. We look forward to celebrating with everyone on the night.
