NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK: 9th -17th August 2025🫧🧪🔬

This month, Cranbourne East Secondary College celebrated 'National Science week', by inviting 2016 Alum Jackson Mison back, to share his 'Science' journey with a group of Year 9 and 11 students. 

Jackson is an Environmental Health Officer and works for Frankston City Council. He spoke about life after school, life at University, 'Science' at Deakin, and where a journey with Science might take you...🌏 

Students loved hearing about Jackson's favourite science experiment, science jobs available in the community, and how he balanced work, study, and his passion for music, all whilst marrying his high-school sweetheart 💕 

Thank you for the laughs and for coming back and sharing your story with us Jackson, you are an inspiration 🙌 And thank you for showing us where a love of science can lead 🗺️
