Young Communities

Youth Holiday Program - Winter 2026 

Melton City Council’s Young Communities team provides a range of programs, activities, and support services designed to help young people connect, learn, and thrive. Working with young people aged 10–25, the team creates opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, community participation, and social connection.

Young Communities offers workshops, events, school holiday activities, youth groups, volunteering opportunities, and programs that support wellbeing, inclusion, and skill development. The service also provides information and referrals to help young people access support when needed.

By encouraging young people to have a voice in their community and participate in positive experiences, Young Communities helps build confidence, resilience, and strong connections across the City of Melton.
