Term 2 Sport News

What a fantastic term it has been for sport at our school!
Our Athletics Carnival was a tremendous success, with students demonstrating outstanding participation, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day. Congratulations to Barak House for taking out the overall Athletics Carnival Championship. It was wonderful to see students giving their best effort and supporting one another across all events.
This term has been packed with sporting opportunities, including interschool sport competitions for AFL, Soccer, Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Rugby and Badminton. The level of participation across all year levels has been outstanding, entering a team for every competition available this term and our students have represented the school with pride both on and off the field.
We have also enjoyed significant success with many teams progressing to the next round after winning their district championships. Congratulations to the following teams on their achievements:
- Intermediate Boys Volleyball
- Senior Boys Volleyball
- Senior Boys Rugby
Year 7 Boys AFL
These results are a testament to the hard work, commitment and teamwork displayed by our students throughout the term.
A special thank you to all students who participated in sport this term. Whether competing at a high level or simply giving something new a try, your willingness to get involved and represent our school is greatly appreciated.
It has also been fantastic to see our lunchtime sports program continue to thrive. The courts and fields are always packed with students enjoying friendly competition and staying active. The energy and enthusiasm shown each lunchtime is great to see and helps build a positive sporting culture within our school.
Thank you again to everyone who has contributed to another successful term of sport. Let's continue this momentum into next term and look forward to even more opportunities, participation and success.
