End of Term

As we come to the end of Term 1, it's a wonderful time to look back and feel proud of everything we as a Primary have achieved together.

Term 1 was a busy and exciting time, full of different activities and experiences. There was something for everyone, and it took courage and effort from each of us to take part. Whether it was a first day of school nerves or stepping up to try something new, we faced each moment together as a community.

Over the term, our students have taken part in swimming carnivals, representative sport, leadership commissioning and training, Holy Week and Easter Liturgies, Easter Bonnet Parade just to name a few. They have sat NAPLAN, listened to guest speakers, and performed highly and successfully at enrichment days such as the Da Vinci Challenge and Chess Championships. Through every one of these experiences, our school values of contribution, compassion, resilience and respect shone through.

Each small step has helped build confidence not just in our students, but across our whole school family. Every activity has reminded us how important each person is to our community.

Now it is time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the break with your families. Term 2 will bring new opportunities and adventures, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.

A Fond Farewell to Mrs Fazackerley

As we head into the Term 1 break we also say a very special farewell to our wonderful Year 6 Navy teacher, Mrs Katie Fazackerley, as she begins her maternity leave. Katie has been such a valued and loved member of our Primary community, and her warmth, dedication, and care for her students has made a lasting impression on all who know her. We are so excited for her as she embarks on this beautiful new chapter with her husband Brendan. Please join us in wishing Katie, and her growing family, all the very best. We will be thinking of her and can't wait to hear the exciting news!
