Our Vision

Each child has a gift or talent. It is our job to find it and to show it to them.

Our Mission

Identify the talent, develop the confidence and create the leader.

What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?

Dear Families,

It has been another vibrant and inspiring period at Le Page Primary School, with many opportunities for our students to lead, learn, and shine.

Leadership Morning

Our recent Leadership Morning was a powerful and enriching experience for all who attended. Visitors had the opportunity to observe firsthand how our teachers explicitly teach Leader in Me through carefully scoped and sequenced Direct Lessons. It was inspiring to see our students confidently demonstrating the 7 Habits in action.

A highlight of the morning was the student speeches, where our learners articulated their understanding and personal application of the habits with clarity and pride.  We also deeply appreciated the parents Becky and Pragati who shared how the 7 Habits are being embedded at home, this partnership is what makes our approach so impactful.

The performances added to the atmosphere, with our choir delivering a powerful rendition of Hall of Fame, and our Year 2 students beautifully signing the school song and Acknowledgement of Country.

Visitors were further impressed by students sharing their passion projects, as well as the confidence and talent displayed by our soloist musicians. It was a true celebration of student voice, leadership, and growth.

School Tours & Enrolments

We continue to see a significant increase in expressions of interest from prospective families for 2027 enrolments. Our school tours have been extremely well attended, reflecting the strong reputation of our teaching and learning programs and our inclusive school culture.

Attendance & Punctuality

We commend our students and families for their outstanding efforts in ensuring students arrive on time and attend school regularly. Our attendance data for Term 1 and continuing into this term shows a noticeable improvement compared to the same time last year. This consistency plays a crucial role in student learning and success. Well done to everyone.

Wellbeing Play Therapy

We are pleased to share that play therapy sessions with Yashwani will be running, providing additional support for students who benefit from this approach to wellbeing and emotional development.

Fire Brigade Visit

Next Tuesday our Foundation students are looking forward to an exciting and educational visit from the Fire Brigade.

Kingston District Cross-Country

We wish the 26 students representing our school the very best as they compete in next week’s Cross-Country Run, supported by Jarrod Bradley. We are proud of their efforts and commitment.

Mother’s Day Stall

Next Wednesday, the stall is a wonderful annual opportunity for students to purchase a special gift for their mums and significant others. The Social and Fundraising Team do a stellar job facilitating this much-loved event.

Kingston Junior Mayor Program

Next Thursday our School Captains will participate in the Kingston Junior Mayor election. This leadership experience has been supported by Karen Dragatsikas and Courtney Mason. We are incredibly proud of our students’ speech preparation and for representing our school.

New Arrival

We are delighted to share some joyful personal news. Congratulations to Nick Duckett and his wife Lisa on the arrival of their new baby, Adela Helen Duckett. We wish the family all the very best during this special time.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support. Together, we continue to create a school environment where every child can grow as a learner and a leader.

“At Le Page, we don’t just learn the 7 Habits, we live them. When students lead their own learning, find their voice, and inspire others, they are not just preparing for school… they are preparing for life.”
