Captains Corner

Hello everybody, I am Zavier and I will be telling you about all the amazing things that are happening around the school!

Starting it off with something that Grade 6 students have been waiting three terms for… our Grade 6 camp! This will be from Monday the 17th of August until Wednesday the 19th of August. It will be in Forest Edge. We hope that all Grade 6 students will enjoy their last camp of primary school!

Last week on Thursday the 30th of August was the Art Stall. The Art Stall was in the art room where you could buy students artworks. Small drawings for 50 cents, big drawings for $1 and clay art for $2. This isn’t all for the fun of buying art, but it’s for a fundraiser. All the money that we get from it will be donated to RSPCA. We raised a total of $240.00 thank you for everybody who donated towards the RSPCA.

On Wednesday the 12th of August is Jeans for Genes day. On this day, everyone can wear as much denim as they want instead of the regular school uniform. Every child will bring a Gold Coin Donation to raise money for children with genetic disorders. We are trying to beat our 2025 record of $469.20. We hope to get as much donations as we can to support all the children with genetic disorders.

Remember, always make sensible choices and respect all teachers and peers. Make sure to show all four school values both inside and outside of school.
