Reminder: laws around e-scooters and e-bikes

Please see this recent reminder from the City of Casey about e-scooters and e-bikes.

Specifically for Primary School students:

• Primary School Students are allowed to ride non-powered scooters to school. 
• E Scooters are not permitted for students under 16 years of age.
• Always wear a helmet and ensure it is fastened.
• Keep your scooter maintained.
• Non-powered scooter riders are allowed on footpaths and shared-use paths
• Use your bell to warn pedestrians you are approaching if on the same path as pedestrians.
• Always stay left on the path unless overtaking.
