Student Success

Cycling Success: Congratulations to Jack P and Archie M!

This year has been a remarkable one for our talented cyclists, Jack P and Archie M (Year 8).

In the recent Victorian Junior Road Championships, Jack brought home the gold in the Time Trial and earned silver medals in both the road race and criterium. His success continued at the National Junior Road Cycling Championships, where he achieved a silver, bronze, and a fourth-place finish. Jack also proudly represented Beaumaris Secondary College in the Victorian Interschool Cycling Series, winning the Junior Category.

Archie was also selected to represent Victoria at the Junior Road Nationals after strong performances throughout the year, including a stage win and GC podium in Round 3, as well as a bronze medal in the criterium and a fourth place in both the road race and time trial at the State Championships. He achieved three top 20 results at the Nationals.

In an exciting development, Jack has been selected to attend the prestigious Belgium Road Cycling Academy in 2025. We wish him all the best in his cycling journey and look forward to seeing his future accomplishments!
