Do you play a musical instrument? If so, which one?

I play the saxophone and the violin.

How long have you worked at this school?

One and a half years.

How many languages do you speak?

Fluently three: English, Filipino and Japanese.

If you could choose to be anything for a day, what would it be?

A fly on the wall, so I'd know what’s going on.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Fried chicken and rice, with no health complications.

If you could visit anywhere in the world, you’ve never been, where would you go?

I would go to Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?

I would have superhuman powers over water, such as freezing and controlling it.

Is there anyone who has influenced you as a teacher? In what way?

My design teacher influenced me—not only in becoming a teacher but also in working as a designer before teaching.

Tell us about your family.

I have a family of five; we moved from the Philippines, and I’m the middle child.

What animal would you like to be for a day?

A dolphin, because I love water.

What book/tv series/podcasts are you into at the moment?

I am reading the Lorien Legacies series by Pittacus Lore.

What is your favourite music?

Pop music.

What makes your job rewarding?

Being able to see students flourish and develop into more productive individuals.

What was your favourite subject at school?

Food Technology—I really love cooking.

What would you sing at karaoke night?

'What Makes You Beautiful' by One Direction.

Who would you like to swap places with for the day?

Stephen Spielberg, because I'd like to direct a movie and experience movie industry.
