State Cross Country

Congratulations to our three students that competed at the State Cross Country event on Thursday July 13 at Yarra Valley Racing Club.

All three students performed exceptionally well in what is an event with a very high standard of running.

Fatima Kodsi (Y8) finished 30th in 14 girls age group

India Morland (Y12) finished 30th in 17-20 girls age group

Lachlan O’Brien (Y12) finished 51st in 17-20 boys age group

Netball - North Metro Region Finals

Well done to our three Netball teams that participated in the recent NMR event days.

The Year 11/12 & Year 9/10 girls teams were both fixtured against strong opponents in their pool rounds on their respective event days, and competed admirably against each team.

The Year 9/10 boys team then had their event on Monday July 31. They progressed through the three pool rounds with comprehensive victories in each match to make it to the Grand Final. The Grand Final against Hazel Glen College was a close game, with our team victorious by two goals! Fantastic achievement to win at NMR level.

Next up is the State Finals which are scheduled for August 28 at Waverley Netball Centre.

Table Tennis - Darebin Division

The Year 9/10 Table Tennis event was held at Coburg Table Tennis Club.

Both of our ‘A’ teams went through their rounds undefeated, with our girls team winning their event! The boys team narrowly missed out, after drawing one round 3-3, but being behind in the amount of points won overall.

The girls NMR Finals will be early in Term 4.
