Green Team

At the Mid-year concert, Green Team held a raffle to raise money for an excursion to Ceres Environmental Park in Term 4. We had a really successful evening, raising close to $400. Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and congratulations to those who were lucky enough to win one of our marvellous prizes. 

A huge thank you to our sponsors: Northcote Bakeshop, Happy Valley books and vinyl Collingwood, Friends of the Earth food co-op Collingwood and Thornbury Picturehouse. We want to extend our thanks to these businesses for their generosity, and issue a very special thank you to our major sponsors - The Keys Leisure Centre Preston and Welcome to Thornbury, who so generously donated vouchers to the value of $200 and $150 respectively. 

We are so grateful to live in such a generous, environmentally conscious community (#supportlocal) and can’t wait to visit Ceres to learn more about sustainability and the small acts of change we can integrate into our lives for a sustainable future. 

Green Team meetings are at lunchtime on Tuesdays in Gold Week. Bring your lunch, bring a friend and see what we’re up to!
