PFA

Hello all! My name is Sarah Higgins and I’m proud to announce that I have been reinstated as PFA President for 2026. We had our AGM on Feb 25, where this year’s committee was formed. I’d like to thank all parents who have volunteered to be on the committee this year - we’re going to have a great one! We still have spaces available, so if you have been thinking about joining in as a school volunteer, please reach out to us.
Upcoming Events
Our provisional event calendar for this year is as follows:
Term 1: Easter Raffle
Term 2: Beanie sales re-open
School Disco (date TBC)
Term 4: School Fete
As always, there is less fundraising activity in a fete year as that’s our major event for 2026. Additional fete-related events will pop up throughout the year, stay tuned for more info!
Easter Raffle
Our first event for 2026 is the Easter raffle. Your children should have come home with a book of 10 raffle tickets this week. Tickets are $1 each and the prizes are Easter hampers (one for each year level) to the value of ~$75 each.
Tickets and money are due back to the school by Friday March 20. The raffle will be drawn on Friday March 27, when the Easter bunny will also make his annual visit to Oatlands.
Funds raised from the raffle will go towards installing padding around the poles on the Basketball court and Football oval.
Entertainment Membership- thousands of $$$ in savings for only $75 per year!
The Entertainment Membership (previously the Entertainment Book) is an app based membership program that provides discounts for hundreds of Australian Eateries, Attractions & Activities, Retail & Local services, Gift Cards and Travel & Leisure bookings.
The price is $75 for a multi city membership and Oatlands Primary School receives $30 from every membership sold, so please invite your family and friends to support us as well.
Please click on this link to buy your membership.
That’s it from me for now, but remember you can always contact the office for more info or email the PFA on p.f.a@oatlandsps.vic.edu.au if you have any questions or suggestions.
Cheers,
Sarah Higgins
PFA President
