Year 8 Snow Day

On Wednesday 30th August KP year 8 students attended Lake Mountain. 

The snow was artificial, and it rained heavily on the day, however that didn’t deter our resilient students and teachers who enjoyed tobogganing and snowball fights. 

Thank you to all students and staff who attended the snow excursion.

Department of Education 2023 African Australian Student Conference

"Department of Education 2023 African Australian Student Conference which was attended by 7 students and 2 staff members.

The aim of the event was to bring together African heritage students from schools across the state, fostering an environment of empowerment, inspiration, and career exploration.

There were several schools representing the various African communities in Victoria. The day was filled with laughter and the students enjoying various speakers and presentations.

The conference had wonderful guest speakers from the education department as well as fantastic speakers such as Mohamed Semra, Mahamed Ahmed; Simba Mak and Flex Mami, that are involved in the community and working towards a change.

The students in attendance were treated to a wonderful day filled with music and a great reminder of their African roots and the meaning of Ubuntu."
