RUOK? Day
Last Thursday we recognised RUOK? Day and the importance of checking in with friends and family to start a mental health conversation. Students enjoyed yellow donuts and delicious yellow cupcakes provided very generously, in partnership with the Hamilton Rotary Club. Well done to Belinda and the Wellbeing Committee for their organisation around this day.
Students in Year 8 and 10 also develop their skills through our Teen Mental Health First Aid training sessions. Our Year 10 students completed this training in Term 3 and our Year 8 Teen sessions will be in Term 4.
Any day can be RUOK? Day and students are encouraged to notice those around them and to have a conversation using the 4 steps outlined below:
School Holiday Support
I wish all families a safe and restful holiday break, hopefully you will all have the chance for some rest after what has been a very busy term.
Please note, our Wellbeing Hub staff will be unavailable during the holiday break. They will be having a very well-deserved break as well.
