Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival
After a busy seven weeks Catholic Performing Arts Festival has concluded for another year. We are proud of all the students that put themselves out there and performed this year. For the Year 8 band it was their debut performance which meant for many of them, their first time performing in front of an audience.
Overall, we had 81 performers in 49 performances held at various venues around Perth. Congratulations to the students listed below for their outstanding and excellent performances.
We would like to offer our congratulations to the Mazenod Latin Ensemble who were selected to perform in the play- off for the Premier of Western Australia Award.
Well done to all the boys who took part and thank you to their parents for their support through this busy time.
Thank you also to our tutors who prepared the boys for their various performances.

Best of the Fest
On 5 September, the College Arts Department held the annual Best of the Fest Concert. The concert showcased the talented arts, drama and music students that performed in the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival. There were performances ranging from instrumental solos, ensembles and big bands as well as two drama ATAR students.
Artworks from various year levels were displayed around Oblate Hall for patrons to peruse and admire. A big congratulations to Alexander T and Ewan W for winning Performers of the Festival. It was great to see friends and family enjoying the various talents of our students. The evening was a great way to finish off the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival!
