As we move through Term 2, it has been truly encouraging to see our international students growing in confidence and engagement across both their academic studies and school activities. It has been a pleasure to watch students actively participating in class, building their skills, and forming meaningful connections within our school community. Many students are not only settling in well, but are beginning to feel a genuine sense of belonging at Warrandyte High School.
We would especially like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our teachers for their ongoing dedication and care. So many staff have gone above and beyond, generously giving their time, patience, and support to ensure our international students feel welcomed, supported, and able to succeed. Your kindness and commitment have made a lasting and meaningful difference to our students’ learning and wellbeing.

In addition, our school recently conducted the annual International Student Program (ISP) training, providing staff with valuable insights into how best to support international students. It is encouraging to see more teachers and staff actively involved in supporting our international cohort, contributing to a more inclusive, supportive, and culturally responsive learning environment.
