King Scout Award for Molly Symons 

On Tuesday 19th May, Molly Symons was awarded the King Scout Award. This is an award that only 4% to 5% of Venturers in Victoria receive (around 50) per year. 

This is the highest peak award in the Venturer Scout Section and early next year she will be presented her Royal Certificate at Government House by the Governor of Victoria.  

To get this, Molly worked for 3 years, completing many specialist projects, leading venturers nights, planning and running a 144km bike ride over 3 nights (without adult leaders), attending a Leadership course and much more. 

As you can imagine, this is a massive achievement and Viewbank Scouts, her family and friends are all extremely proud of her. Viewbank College has had a few previous students that have also received this award that attend Viewbank Venturers.  Congratulations Molly what an achievement.
