Exaggeration and Distortion Sculptures Year 10 Art Semester 1 Mastery

Exaggeration and Distortion Sculptures Year 10 Art Semester 1 Mastery
This semester Year 10 Art students have been exploring three dimensional work across different mediums. Our first theme has been exaggeration and distortion and the materials they could use were wire, paper mache, tape, plaster and wood.
I have participated in the year 10 distortion and exaggeration task. Our task was to create a distorted or exaggerated piece of work using a variety of materials. I have really enjoyed this project as we have been given lots of creative freedom to what we want to create and convey in our artwork.
We have all successfully responded to the theme and input it into our work, creating clear exaggerations and distortions. During this process I have gained multiple new skills such as how to uses certain materials in my work and how to create meaning in my art during the developing process. Overall, I am proud of what I have accomplished and as should the rest of the class as everyone's pieces are absolutely outstanding!
