Year 10 Students Reflect on Their Work Experience Placements

Following their placements, students reflected on their experiences and shared some of their highlights and learnings:

“I enjoyed learning and experiencing new things. Preparation beforehand is a must to improve.” – Sarah

“Every nurse I was following around helpfully explained what was going and gladly answered my questions. On the third day I fell ill and could not come, other than that I had a wonderful time.” – Hurley

“I loved working with the kids and hanging around with them outside. My biggest challenge definitely was leaving all the kids because of all the relationships I had made with them.” – Bella

“I enjoyed helping the 1/2's with their work and making sure that they were kind to one another. There were no challenges but lots of headaches, either way, it was fun.” – Mason

“My favourite part was playing with the little kids, and I enjoyed doing fun things with them.” – Annabelle

“Everyone was very nice and I learnt some things I didn’t know about pottery.” – Chloe

“Everyone was welcoming, the place is always tidy and relaxed.” – Lilli

“It was fun doing PE with Dennis, he is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from him. The kids were all very nice to me and they were all well behaved.” – Jeremy
