Community Masses 2025
At our last Community Mass, Sunday 15th May, our second group of students celebrated their First Eucharist. Congratulations to these children. As a school community, we continue to pray for them, that they will grow in love and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus, who they received in the Eucharist.
I would like to thank the Year 4 team for all of their hard work in preparing these students for this sacrament, and the assistance they offered during these celebrations. Thank you also to all staff who ensured these Sacramental Masses went smoothly, especially Imogen and Jamie for their assistance with the choir. I'd like to thank the current and former students who served at the altar and provided mucial accompaniment.
The children below have indicated that they would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. If your child’s name is not on the list below and you believe it should be, please contact me as soon as possible. To receive the Sacrament of Eucharist, children must be baptised Catholic or have been welcomed into the Catholic Church, and celebrated First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

One way that we ask you to begin preparing your child for their Confirmation is to discuss with them who they might like their sponsor to be, and also which Saint they are thinking of choosing as their Confirmation Saint and why? They are learning about Confirmation and Saints in RE lessons also.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Vinnies Winter Appeal food drive. We have received many donations that will go to helping support those in our community in need.
We will also be having a Casual Clothes Day of Tuesday of next week (Week 11), for a gold coin donation. The money raised will also go to the Vinnies Winter Appeal. Thank you for your support in this important Social Justice initiative.
Please find below all of the scheduled school Masses for 2025. These will begin at 9am this year, so we are hoping many more families can join us at this earlier time. All are welcome!

SAVE THE DATE - 2025 Community Mass Dates
Community Masses have begun and we have had wonderful attendance so far. Last month we celebrated the baptism of some of our students. Over the next few months, we will also be celebrating First Eucharist and Confirmation as part of our Community Masses.
We encourage you to spread the word of our Community Masses and invite as many family, friends, neighbours and others to these celebrations.
