Fair Go Athletics Carnival 

A Day of Spirit and Sportsmanship 

February 28th, Reservoir High School – The much-anticipated Fair Go Athletics Carnival was held last Friday, bringing together students, staff and supporters for a spectacular day of competition, camaraderie and school spirit. With vibrant grandstands and a sea of colors representing the various houses, the atmosphere was electric, as athletes took to the field to showcase their skills.

Students participated in a range of track and field events, demonstrating their dedication, perseverance and teamwork. Cheers echoed across the venue as participants pushed their limits in sprints, long-distance races, jumps and throws. The crowd's enthusiasm was palpable, with grandstands decorated in bold and creative displays of house pride.

After a day of intense competition, it was Plenty who emerged victorious, claiming first place with an outstanding performance across multiple events. Darebin followed closely in second place while Merri secured a well-earned third place. The spirited efforts of all competitors made for an unforgettable event, showcasing the values of fair play and determination.

Teachers  praised the students for their sportsmanship and participation. “It was fantastic to see so many students giving their best and supporting one another". "The energy and enthusiasm were incredible” 

The Fair Go Athletics carnival once again proved to be a highlight on the school calendar, reinforcing the importance of teamwork, perseverance and school pride. With another successful year in the books, students are already looking forward to next year’s event, eager to take on new challenges and celebrate the joy of sport.
