2025 LUNCHTIME CLUBS

Following the amazing response to the sixth annual Lunchtime Activities Expo back in early February, lunchtimes at Reservoir High are buzzing with energy and excitement.

So what do the students of RHS get up to every lunchtime this year?

Keep in mind we have a TWO-WEEK TIMETABLE at RHS, so the dates/times of each Club vary from one week to another.

How’s this for a fully loaded programme?

For starters, our extroverted creative types get to strut their thespian stuff under the watchful eye of our resident master of the theatre Ms Rossini (aka Stella Adler reincarnated), in the Production Club. Ms French is also running what promises to be a challenging and exhilarating Drama Club.

Sporty types are truly spoiled for choice: Mr Todorovski (Table Tennis) and Mr Sirianni (Badminton) provide a range of games for sporty types, as do Ms Warren’s Outdoor Games, while Mr Lyras’s FUTSAL Club attracts about half the school population every Monday. Mr Chen allows students to exhibit amazing feats of strength in the Weights Club.

More cerebral types will find tranquillity as Ms Tsalkos provides a space for those eager to tune out of the various worries of the world in the serene bubble of the Yoga Nidra/Meditation Club. Mr Butler (Beginners) and Mr Campbell-Miller (Masters) teach strategic manoeuvring to a dedicated crew of players in the popular Chess Club, while Ms Zahra oversees the establishment of a welcoming space in the Safe Space. Deep thinkers can ponder the meaning of existence in Mr Friend’s Philosophy Club.

Fans of traditional crafts have reason to be especially excited: try creative visual expression in Mr Langer’s Art Club, while Ms Veljanovski goes old school with her revival of a long-lost art in the Model Kit Making Club.

Mr Brewer blends traditional and contemporary tech in his Retro Gamers Club.

The environmentally conscious get the chance to impress Mr Irvin with their green thumbs in his Enviro/Recycling/Gardening Club.

The week is rounded off with Rachael and Matt’s longstanding (and eternally popular) Board Games Club.
