Welcome back to another exciting year at Reservoir High School! A special welcome to our new Year 11 students who are embarking on their VCE journey for the first time. We are thrilled to see so many students stepping up to the challenge with enthusiasm and commitment. To our Year 12 students, this is your final year of schooling—a time to work hard, stay focused, and make the most of the opportunities ahead.
The Senior School team is here to support all students through their VCE studies. I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce and acknowledge our dedicated staff:
The academic year has started smoothly, with students already settling into their classes, engaging with their coursework and developing strong study habits. School photos have been taken, and our senior students have been participating in IMPACT classes, focusing on essential study skills to help them manage their workload and maximize their learning. These sessions provide valuable strategies in time management, goal setting and effective revision techniques - critical skills for VCE success.
In addition to academic achievements, our VCE boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams have had a fantastic start to the year, achieving success at the local level. Both teams have now progressed to the next stage of competition. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, teamwork and determination. We wish them the best as they continue their journey to further success.
As we move further into Term 1, I encourage all students to stay organized, seek help when needed and take advantage of the many support systems available. Parents and guardians, your involvement is just as important - regularly checking in on study habits, attendance, and wellbeing can make a significant difference in your child’s success.
We look forward to a fantastic year of learning, growth and achievement. Let’s make 2025 a year where we strive for success and support one another - because at Reservoir High School we are “Getting Better Together.”
Best wishes for the term ahead!
