Year 12 Report

The Final Stretch

It’s hard to believe that our Year 12 students are already approaching the final weeks of the 2026 school year! The finish line is now firmly in sight, and the second half of Term 3 is an especially busy and important time for all of our students.

Many VCE students are currently finalising their VTAC, SEAS and scholarship applications, while our VCE VM students are preparing for their final presentations in Literacy, Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills. Alongside this, students continue to complete Evidence of Learning tasks (EoLs), SACs, and ALATs, with some also preparing for their upcoming trial examinations.

With only a short time remaining at school, regular attendance is more important than ever. Every lesson counts, and students need to make the most of the time they have left to ensure they are well prepared for their final assessments and successfully complete their Year 12 studies.

Students are also expected to remain in full school uniform until their final day of school. For students undertaking examinations, this expectation continues throughout the examination period.

Our Year 12 VCE students recently participated in a VTAC information session. A copy of the presentation, along with other important information for all Year 12 students, has been shared via the Compass Newsfeed and emailed to families.

To complement this information, we have included an outline of the key dates and important deadlines for the remainder of the year below. We encourage families to take a few moments to review these dates with their child and ensure they are aware of what is required in the coming weeks.

We are incredibly proud of the way our Year 12 students have continued to work, grow, and support one another throughout the year. While the final stretch can be challenging, it is also an exciting time as students work towards completing this important chapter of their schooling. We encourage families to continue supporting and encouraging their young person as they make the most of these final weeks.
