🏃♀️ Jump Off Day
What an awesome Jump Off Day we had! Our students had so much fun sharing their skipping skills, learning from one another and getting involved in a range of fun activities. It was fantastic to see the students encouraging each other, having a go and celebrating each other’s skills. A wonderful way to finish off our skipping unit!
🏃♀️ District Athletics
A huge well done to all of our students who competed at District Athletics against schools from across the Geelong region. We were incredibly proud of the way our students competed, with many achieving fantastic 2nd and 3rd place finishes across their events.
A special mention to Pippa R, who has qualified through to the next round in both of her events- an amazing achievement!
Congratulations also to our 11 Years Boys Relay team, who finished in 2nd place. What a fantastic effort from the team!
Well done to everyone who represented our school- we are so proud of you! 👏
🏀 Basketball
A fantastic day was had by all at our basketball competition! Our students showed great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. A special congratulations to our Boys team, who narrowly missed out on winning the Grand Final against Mount Duneed. An amazing effort and a fantastic achievement! 👏🏀
🏃♂️ What’s Coming Up in PE
The remainder of this term and into Term 4 will be a busy and exciting time in PE!
Our Prep–2 students will be practising and preparing for our P–2 Athletics Carnival on October 16th, developing their running, jumping and throwing skills along the way.
Our Years 3–6 students will be exploring a range of invasion-style games, including Capture the Flag, Lacrosse and NFL Flag Football. These activities will focus on teamwork, communication, movement and strategy while keeping things fun and active!
