Prep

Over the last 3 weeks students have completed their published booklet of their likes and dislikes including animals and foods in their final copies. Students took great pride in publishing them and should have them home in the coming weeks. Looking over the last three terms, students have expanded their French vocabulary immensely and we have spent the last session revising these. Students have selected words and created images in a bingo chart, using mixed learned vocabulary, before playing a whole class bingo game.

The kids have officially finished their "likes and dislikes" booklets! They worked hard over the last three weeks writing about their favourite foods and animals, and they are so proud of their final copies. These should be coming home in the next couple of weeks.

It’s amazing to see how much French vocabulary they’ve picked up over the last three terms. To revise before the break, we made a custom bingo game. Everyone chose their words, drew the pictures on their charts, and we wrapped up the lesson with a fun whole-class game!

Over the last few weeks students have been conducting their research into their chosen popular French sports, following their own inquiry questions and publishing their information. They have begun designing creative ways to present their findings to our Prep to Year 2 students, taking place at the beginning of Term 4. These are ranging from table top games, video presentations, mini skills clinics and dioramas. Students are delegating roles and responsibilities across their teams and identifying and listing materials needed for success. It's great to see their interests followed, their voices heard and plenty of French sports culture chat!
