Cairns Libraries is excited to share a range of free teen programs and creative activities happening across our library branches these school holidays and throughout July for young people aged 12 years and over.
Our Teen Creative Labs and Comic Book Month programs are designed to give young people opportunities to connect, create, learn new skills, and explore their interests in safe, welcoming, and inclusive community spaces.
Programs include:
- Bike Works – learn basic bike maintenance and repair skills
- Make Up & Face Art – creative self-expression and beginner make-up skills
- Cosplay Meet Up & Discovery – for anime, manga, and cosplay fans
- Creative Cartooning
- Concrete Poetry
- Zentangles
- Chess workshops
- Zine making and more!
All programs are free, non-booked, and recommended for ages 12 years and over.
We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing these opportunities with your students, families, young people, and community networks.
