Our Grade 2 writers have been using Colourful Semantics to stretch and add detail to their simple sentences! In our current narrative unit, the students have begun crafting their own stories, focusing on building rich sentences and organizing their ideas into clear paragraphs.
Over the coming weeks, we look forward to transitioning into exploring informative texts!
In Maths, our Grade 1 students have been hard at work learning all about repeating patterns. We began by investigating pattern rules and giving students the opportunity to build their own AB, AABB, ABB, and ABC patterns using concrete materials. They showed fantastic enthusiasm while creating and identifying these hands-on sequences!
Building on this knowledge, we have now moved into exploring number patterns. Shortly, we will be diving into our next unit, where we will explore the concepts of sharing and grouping.

Wally and Ringo have been busy visiting so many homes this term, and we always look forward to hearing about their exciting adventures each week! Over the past fortnight, Harper, Pauleen, Nohan, and Sonny took our class friends home for some special quality time. We loved hearing all about their fun adventures!

The Grade 1s brought heaps of energy to their latest PMP session! From balancing on the beam and practicing throw-and-catch games to navigating balloon walks without dropping a single one, everyone gave it their all. The wheelie boards were a huge hit, giving our core strength and determination a real workout. Lots of smiles, laughter, and great skill-building all round!

Happy birthday to these Students, we hope you have a wonderful day!
