All Things Hub
Springvale Rise Primary School Community Hub
It has been another wonderful few weeks in the Community Hub, with our families continuing to learn, connect and support one another through a range of exciting programs.
We are excited to have commenced our Breastfeeding Education and Mentoring Program in partnership with the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA). This free program is supporting local mothers to build their knowledge and confidence while providing the opportunity to become accredited breastfeeding peer supporters. It has been fantastic to see participants connecting, sharing experiences and building supportive relationships throughout the course.
Our Thursday Wellbeing sessions have also kicked off with Yoga and Dance, giving women the opportunity to take time out for themselves while improving both their physical and mental wellbeing. These sessions encourage movement, relaxation and mindfulness in a welcoming and supportive environment. It's been wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter and new friendships forming as participants enjoy moving their bodies together.

Our English classes have been busy preparing for the upcoming Australian Census. Through practical learning activities, participants have been building their understanding of what the Census is, why it is important and how to confidently complete Census questions. Developing these everyday life skills helps families feel more informed, confident and connected within the wider Australian community. A friendly reminder that Census night will be held on Tuesday the 11th of August.

As always, we thank all our wonderful families, volunteers and community partners for making the Community Hub such a welcoming place to learn, grow and belong. We look forward to another fantastic few weeks ahead!
