Principals' Day 2026 – A Wonderful Celebration of Leadership and Appreciation

Our school proudly celebrated Principals' Day on Wednesday 5 August, and what a wonderful day of celebration it was!

Principals' Day provides an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the dedication, leadership and commitment of principals and assistant principals, and the positive impact they have on their school communities.

This year, Mrs Cottier (Principal), Mrs Karup and Mrs Orme (Assistant Principals) were once again overwhelmed by the thoughtful gestures from students and staff. Across both campuses, the Principal Team was presented with heartfelt cards, beautiful handmade gifts and flowers, and kind words of appreciation that made the day truly special.

More importantly, the celebrations highlighted something even more valuable—our students demonstrated the importance of expressing gratitude, showing kindness and recognising the people who make a difference in their lives each day. These acts of appreciation reflect the values we strive to nurture at Springvale Rise Primary School: Respect, Collaboration, Excellence and Resilience.

To everyone who contributed to making Principals' Day so memorable, thank you. Your generosity, creativity and kind words were deeply appreciated and reminded us what a privilege it is to lead such an extraordinary school community.

We would also like to give a “shout out” to Miss Jamar who is Acting Principal at Noble Park Primary School at the moment. . . .the students were adamant we could not forget her and her gifts were hand delivered by Mrs Cottier at the Principals Confrence on Thursday. She was ecstatic!

Foundation 2027 Enrolments – Reminder

A friendly reminder to families that Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2027 are now open.

If your child is due to start school in 2027, we encourage you to submit your enrolment as soon as possible. Early enrolments assist us with planning classes, staffing and transition activities, ensuring every child has a positive start to their school journey. If you have family, friends or neighbours with a child starting school next year, please share this reminder with them.
