Celebrating the International Day of Mathematics at Evans IEC

Our students recently took part in a creative and exciting activity to celebrate the International Day of Mathematics, which is held every year on March 14. This year’s theme, “Mathematics and Hope,” encouraged students to see how maths can inspire creativity, connection, and positive thinking.

Each class designed a unique mosaic using geometric shapes, combining mathematical thinking with artistic flair. Students explored patterns, symmetry, and design while working collaboratively to bring their ideas to life. The results were colourful, creative, and truly impressive!

To make things even more exciting, teachers selected one winning design, while students had the chance to vote for their favourite through Instagram. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and teamwork across all classes.
