Preps Term 1 2026- Pirates at Peacock
At Peacock, our prep students have been busy exploring the world of imagination by becoming different characters in our classroom adventures. One of their recent favourites has been the lively “Five Stinky Pirates” song! With Pirate bandanas, eye patches and scarves in hand, they’ve been singing, acting and laughing their way through the story-calling out lines like “you’ve gone too far!” and “Argh!” in their best pirate voices. The children have taken turns playing all the roles, from the captain to the stinky pirates, and even the waves of the ocean (using scarves to make a spectacular sea scene when the pirates tumble overboard!). It’s been a wonderful mix of creativity, resilience, teamwork and fun for everyone involved.

Last Friday our Wizard of Oz students performed for the opening of the Windsor Park Garden

Sunday we had our first weekend rehearsal.

Our 7/8 students went to the DIVA exhibition and the Museum of Performing Arts and NGV to see the exhibition there.

Friday week 8 was a fantastic day of Senior School Sport, with our students representing Northern Bay College with pride and enthusiasm. The sports competed in were tennis, baseball, softball & volleyball. Both our volleyball and softball teams came away with wins, which was an outstanding result. The volleyball team won the boys’ division, made even more impressive by the fact that it was a mixed group of students who worked brilliantly together throughout the day. The excitement and pride from the students was wonderful to see.
