Vinnies Term 2 Activities

Vinnies Kelmscott has experienced an overwhelming demand for help at its Community Kitchen in recent times. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the staff and students who generously give their time to cook and serve those in need. I am also grateful to members of our community for their ongoing ingredient donations as well.  Every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

Our Community Kitchen program runs after school on Wednesday afternoons. Due to the strong response, we are now operating across two rooms, preparing a wide variety of meals. These are distributed both on the streets to those experiencing homelessness and at the soup kitchen for attendees.

The program will continue on odd weeks throughout Term 2.

Upcoming Vinnies Cooking Sessions:

• June 17
• July 1

Time: 3:10 pm – 4:30 pm

Location: D Block

As you begin sorting through winter items in the coming weeks, please keep our upcoming Winter Blanket Appeal in mind. This will take place when our Year 11 and 12 students return from their exam break.
