Arrowsmith

On Friday 22 November, the Arrowsmith final assembly and Graduation ceremony for 2024 was held in the conference centre.

Attended by staff, executive, parents and students, it was a lovely celebration of the work and commitment students had shown during their time in the Arrowsmith Program.

Speeches were made by Mr Mark Robertson and Mr Wayne Stagg highlighting the success and history of the program at Oakleigh Grammar. Mrs Papadakis and Mrs Gilinas made speeches about each of the graduating students and a power point presentation revealed the student highlights of the year.

Congratulations are extended to; Matthew Russell, Sienna Asmar, Daniel Anning, Rylee Bower, Henry Walker, Samuel Anning and Abbey Murphy on finishing the program. We wish all our graduating students the very best as they embark on the next chapter of their journey. Some students are continuing their studies at Oakleigh Grammar, whilst others are pursuing other educational pathways.

Thanks are extended to the Arrowsmith staff for their contribution to the program in 2024; Helen Gilinas, Dora Papadakis and Maria Katseli. Their commitment and dedication to developing young people is appreciated by students and parents alike. A special mention to Mr Nathan Neilson who made a significant contribution to the Arrowsmith Program during his tenure at Oakleigh Grammar. We wish him well in his new position and thank him for working with the students in a diligent and caring manner.

It has been an honour and a privilege to work so closely with students and families during my time as Head of the Arrowsmith Program. On behalf of the Arrowsmith staff, I wish all families a safe and blessed Christmas and holiday period.

Wayne Stagg
