As we near the end of another academic year and prepare our end of semester reports, I wanted to take this opportunity to shine a light on the tremendous investment of effort, professionalism and intentional planning and conversation that teachers put into our Continuous Reporting at Oakleigh Grammar.   

 

We believe that the value of Continuous Reporting has well and truly established itself. As an ongoing report that is built throughout the semester, we are providing students and parents with an ongoing overview of how students are progressing, summarised in a progression point. 

 

The uploads of student work samples, detailed feedback comments and achieved standard indicators against learning outcomes are demonstrate our commitment to developing, celebrating and sharing growth performance that each individual student makes in their learning from the point at which they start.

 

We encourage you to review the Continuous Reporting uploads with your child and share in their successes and identified next steps in learning.  These are opportune moments to inquire about the learning task, how it was accessed, the level of engagement or a challenge that face have been faced. 

 

We endeavour to share with you a wide variety of learning outcomes across all curriculum areas whilst also sharing continuous focus points to demonstrate growth in key learning areas. 

 

As always, we encourage and welcome ongoing conversations to support you in understanding your child’s Continuous Reporting and end of semester report.
