Our Prep students have been working hard and having lots of fun during our literacy rotations. These rotations provide students with opportunities to practise and apply the reading and writing skills they have been learning during our InitiaLit and other literacy lessons, while also developing their confidence and independence as learners.

Across our rotations, students participate in a range of engaging activities. They enjoy 1:1 reading and writing check-ins, shared reading, and practising their sentence writing. Students are also building their knowledge of tricky words through games and activities such as Tricky Word Bingo, as well as using our Word Wall QR codes to practise their words independently.

It has been great to see the growing confidence and enthusiasm our students are showing during literacy time. We are so proud of the effort they are putting into their reading and writing each day!
