What an Incredible 2025 Season!
As our season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate everything our teams have achieved this year. It was a season full of hard work, determination and team spirit! Two of our teams made it all the way to the semifinals the 7/8s and 9/10s — a fantastic accomplishment that speaks to the talent and commitment of our players and coaches.
Our 7/8s team fought bravely in the semifinals, narrowly missing out in the last 10 seconds of the game. What makes this effort even more remarkable is that they played the final five minutes with only 8 boys on the turf — a true testament to their resilience, teamwork, and determination. While a grand final appearance wasn’t to be this year, their courage and commitment make everyone proud.
7/8s Team
Our 9/10s team battled hard in the semi-finals, going down 3-1 to YM Knights. Despite the loss, the boys showed skill and teamwork throughout the game.
We’re incredibly proud of their efforts and can’t wait to see them build on this experience next season!
Off the field, the camaraderie, community spirit, and family support have been amazing. From cheering at games to helping with training and events, everyone’s contribution has made this season a memorable one.
A huge thank you to our coaches, volunteers, players, and families for your unwavering support. While the season may be over, the energy, passion, and friendships we’ve built will carry us into next season stronger than ever. Let’s rest, recharge, and get ready to come back and aim even higher next year!
Season Wind-Up - Save the Date:
Curtin Uni/Mazenod Hockey Club Event:
All players, families, and supporters are invited to an evening of fun, laughter, and community.
Our End of Season Wind-Up has been booked for Term 4 on Friday evening, 17 October, in the Eastman Lounge at Perth Hockey Stadium, starting at 6:30pm.
The evening will feature team presentations and awards, fun games and activities, and a potential Players vs Coaches game - still to be confirmed, but sure to bring laughs and friendly competition.
Nibbles will be provided, and we ask everyone to bring a plate to share for dinner, with drinks available to purchase.
Come along, join the celebration, and finish the season on a high note!
