What’s Happening in Careers?

Year 10

This week in our MyPath class, the Year 10 students created resumes. We discussed the importance of a resume as the student's primary marketing tool and went through the key dos and don’ts in resume creation.

Year 11

This week, the Year 11s had a presentation from Sky Careers. Sky Careers is an organisation that promotes and educates about careers in the aviation industry. It was exciting to hear about the various pathways, including mechanical maintenance, electrical engineering, ground support, drone operation and air crew.

Year 12

The Careers team have been actively meeting with Year 12 students to discuss pathways, scholarships and interview preparation. If your son needs any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Some of the Year 12 students have been receiving their early offers – congratulations to those students, what a wonderful peace of mind to have before your exams. Our focus turns with excitement towards celebrating this year's Year 12s as they complete their secondary education journey.
