Congratulations to Daniel B. | Students in the workforce | Meet the Team
On Wednesday 18th March, our Year 11 students attended the Phillip Island Adventure Resort where they participated in a range of fun activities while enjoying the sun and fresh air. Students are asked to put away their devices, join in the fun, take part in team challenges and, at times, just relax and be still.
The purpose of the Year 11 camp, now in its eighth year at PIAR, is for students to build connections with various members of their cohort - possibly students they don't usually socialise with. This is also an opportunity for the students to take a moment to get to know their teachers. Building these connections is an important step in recognising their support system as they face the upcoming challenges of VCE/VCE VM.
The 2026 cohort were an absolute delight to have on camp and all of our families should be very proud of their young people. The students brought a positive attitude to every activity and to the people around them.

Last week, our Year 10 students participated in an engaging incursion from Road to Zero, focused on promoting road safety awareness. Students took part in immersive VR experiences, interactive simulations, and worked through practice questions similar to those found in the L-plate test. They also explored key driving laws specific to Victoria, helping to build their understanding of safe and responsible behaviour on the roads. It was a valuable and informative experience as students begin preparing for their future as drivers.

Congratulations to Riley B. on her School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships⭐
From the beginning of the year, Riley has been working with Vudu Kustomz as a welder and fabricator, working on super cars and Porches and helping out around the workshop.
An incredible achievement and opportunity!

On behalf of the Cheltenham Secondary College community, we congratulate Daniel B. for winning a gold medal at the WorldSkills competition.
Well done Daniel!
