STRIVE

Our Year 8 students have kicked off the 2026 STRIVE program with energy, curiosity, and plenty of courage! STRIVE gives students the chance to challenge themselves, build resilience and confidence, and connect with both the environment and their community.

This term started with an adventure at Kingston Beach, where students completed a water safety assessment and a scenic bushwalk along the Alum Cliffs. It’s been wonderful to see so many students stepping out of their comfort zones, trying new things, and supporting one another along the way.

Staff (and even members of the community we have run into) have been impressed by their enthusiasm, teamwork, and the connections they are already forming.

Next up, students will learn basic first aid skills at school before heading into our annual activities day on March 27. We can’t wait to see our Year 8 students continue to grow and challenge themselves throughout STRIVE in 2026!

This week our Year 7 and Year 10 Loreto students met for their annual House Picnic, some fun get-to-know you activities and of course the annual tradition of a scrumptious cupcake. The flavour? Why red velvet of course!

Our 9/10 Dance elective class welcomed guest artist Johan Manurung this week. The students have started learning an awesome hip-hop routine that will be entered into some local competitions throughout the year.
