Reporting absentees

There are a number of ways in which parents and carers can notify the College if their child is absent or will be late to school. These include:

Parents and carers are asked to notify the College no later than 9:30am. A SMS message will be sent to parents/carers for all unexplained absences.

Appointments during the day

It is necessary to notify the College Office/Student Services if your child needs to leave the College during class time. Please inform the College Office/Student Services using one of the above contact methods. Early notice minimises disruptions to classrooms during teaching time.

Library News - A Wonderful Start to the Year

The Library has had a vibrant and productive start to the school year, with students already making the most of all that is on offer.

All students now have access to their online textbooks, ensuring they are well-equipped for learning both in and beyond the classroom. In addition, students have been issued their first class novel for the year. It has been wonderful to see such enthusiasm as classes begin exploring new stories together.

Our shelves have also been refreshed with the latest published fiction and non-fiction titles, ready and waiting to be borrowed. There is something to spark every reader’s interest.

Tuesday Chess has once again commenced with great success. We have been delighted by the strong participation from our Primary students who are eager to test their skills and challenge their friends.

Focus Assisted Study Time (FAST), held on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes, is already attracting many students who value a quiet, supportive environment for completing homework and assessment tasks. It is encouraging to see students developing positive study habits so early in the year.

This year, the Library is again open exclusively to Primary students every Monday at lunchtime. This dedicated time allows our younger students to enjoy the space in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Of course, we always ensure a few spare seats are available for Secondary students who may need a quiet place to finish their work.

We are also pleased to share that some of our keen readers have contributed book suggestions to the Library wish list. Student voice plays an important role in shaping our collection, and we look forward to adding many of these requested titles to our shelves.

It is a pleasure to see so many students using the Library to read, complete work, socialise, and learn. The Library remains a vibrant hub of creativity and connection within our school community. We look forward to another fantastic year ahead.

A reminder to all parents and carers to update their daughter's details on the Qkr! app so that there is no confusion when it comes time to receiving/collecting their lunch orders.

It is as simple as opening the app as if you are placing an order - click on the "Profiles" tab - change the year level of your student(s).

For families new to our community, the Qkr app allows lunches to be ordered and paid for easily and in advance. All orders must be placed prior to 9.00am daily.  Full details on how to download and use the app can be found by clicking on the link below.
