In the Classroom

Throughout Term 2, the Melbourne Victory School of Football at John Fawkner College is focused on Individual Development Plans which highlights that a footballer is more than their technical football ability. Students are assessing their developmental journey through four football characteristics - Social, Technical/Tactical, Psychological and Physical.

Primary School Gala Day

Students are preparing to deliver our annual Primary School Gala day to over 300 students during Week 7 of Term 2.

Event: 7-a-side football competition for Grades 5 and 6 primary school students

Date: Wednesday 3rd June 

Location: C.B. Smith Reserve, Fawkner

Time: 10 am - 2 pm

Competitions:

• Grade 5 All-Girls
• Grade 5 Mixed
• Grade 6 All-Girls
• Grade 6 Mixed

Referee Program

School of Football students have begun performing officiating duties for the local Primary School Winter Sport Fixture on behalf St Mark's Primary School most Fridays in Term 2

Victory Cup

Year 7 & 8 students will compete in the Victory Cup on Monday 22nd June implementing the hard work they have been putting into their football each week of the school year. The tournament is hosted by Melbourne Victory at Darebin State Football Centre and incorporates Melbourne Victory affiliated schools from across the State.
