SMAD UPDATE! 

Here’s an update from the SMAD team:

We have successfully implemented classroom calendars, which are now up and running and being used to highlight key dates and special events.

Great feedback from cultural week and Athletics Carnival! Students have responded very positively, showing great engagement and enthusiasm on the days.

The Value Shop continues to be a highlight for students, who are really enjoying exchanging their value points for small rewards and gifts earned through positive behaviour and contributions.

There is also a strong sense of excitement building for the upcoming camp, with students already looking forward to the experience and all it will offer.

In addition, we are very happy with the new tables and chairs in the Learning Centre, which have greatly improved the space and created a more comfortable and functional learning environment.

Students were very much looking forward to the upcoming Careers Expo, which is generating interest and curiosity about future pathways and opportunities.

Finally, the Student Voice team also had the opportunity to tour the new building, and students were genuinely impressed by what they saw. It was lovely to hear their reactions, with many sharing how excited they are, including comments such as, “This is more than we expected,” reflecting their surprise and enthusiasm about the new facilities.
