SOUTH GIPPSLAND VOLLEYBALL

ANNUAL COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Over the King’s Birthday Long Weekend, some of our KSC students and staff were involved in representative teams for South Gippsland Volleyball Club. Teams travelled to Bendigo to compete in the annual Country Championships. 

Nat Churchill (Year 11) was part of the Division 2 Women’s team which came home with the flag! (An ex-student Andrea Axford also played in this team).

Division 3 Women’s team made it to the bronze medal playoff, with Mindy Hams (KSC Integration Team) as the coach, and Jess Churchill (Year 10) and Georgia Scarce (Year 9) playing great volleyball!

Division 3 Men’s team had representatives Mr Churchill (captain) our Year 7 Co-ordinator, and Matt Churchill (Year 8 in the mix! They placed 5th in the competition. (Division 2 Men’s team had one of our ex-students, Jake Churchill!)

Congratulations to our KSC stars. You did your club and our College proud!
