Year 10 Work Experience – A Glimpse into the Future

This week, our Year 10 students have stepped out of the classroom and into the workforce as part of their Work Experience Program. Partnering with a wide range of local businesses, students had the opportunity to experience the daily routines, responsibilities, and expectations of working life.

Work experience provides an invaluable chance for students to explore potential career paths, gain hands-on experience, and reflect on whether a particular field aligns with their interests and strengths. It’s a key step in helping them make informed decisions about their futures.

Students were responsible for sourcing their own placements, ensuring all necessary documentation was completed and signed, and committing to a full week of work. This process not only fostered independence and initiative but also built communication and organisational skills.

We commend all students on their efforts and thank the local businesses who supported our students in this important stage of their career education.
